I am mainly a novel and short story writer, but recently I have started writing more poetry. I’m generally interested in exploring human relationships, and the complexity of human emotions; the novel I wrote for my PhD, although historical, explores a complicated friendship between two young women. In 2019, I was one of the Writers at Work at the Hay Festival.
My short story ‘In the Castle’ was published in October 2020 by the Abergavenny Small Press Literary Journal, and is available to read here.
My ekphrastic poem ‘Wings’ was published in Volume 7, Chapter 7, of Visual Verse and is available here (p. 82).
You can listen to me read my poem ‘Married’ on the Talking Ink podcast (Episode 3, ‘Strangers’) here.
My poem ‘Erasure’ was published in August 2018 in the Bangor Literary Journal (issue 4), which is available to download for free here.
I have also had short pieces of writing published in the Made in Roath anthology (available to buy here) and the anthology Café Collisions.
